  20.     With all of this discussion concerning DEMs (Digital Elevation Maps) I 
  21. decided to inform you that I am working on a project that will involve 
  22. putting them on a CD ROM. Originally I was planning on just putting the 
  23. 250 DEMs available on the Internet on the ROM. With all this discussion 
  24. about getting access to the other DEMs, I have been considering 
  25. purchasing some, if not all, of the other DEMs for the CD ROM project.

  28.    Everyone has been trying to figure the best way to purchase & share in 
  29. the cost of obtaining these DEMs & it sounds like producing the CD ROM 
  30. would be the best way. Plus you would have the convience of having it on 
  31. CD ROM.

  33.    I was planning on converting the data to the VistaPro format so that 
  34. program & Scenery Animator could use it. Otherwise, it would be a 
  35. multiROM set & no one could afford it.

  37.    Any suggestions would be appreciated. I expect to have some sort of a 
  38. DEM CD ROM completed by late spring. Amiga Library Services (distributor 
  39. of LIGHT-ROM) will most likely distribute it.

  41.    Aside from suggestions, what I need to know is how much would you be 
  42. willing to pay for such a CD ROM if it had hundreds of additional DEMs 
  43. that I would purchase. Does $44.95 sound right to you?
